Presented Research at ICES 2025

To explore the relationship between design and emotion in greater depth, I participated in the International Conference on Emotion and Sensibility (ICES 2025), hosted by the Korean Society for Emotion and Sensibility (KOSES). This conference is an international venue where researchers working on emotion and sensibility gather for cross-disciplinary discussion and research presentations.
My presentation was given in English, which was a real challenge since English is not my strong suit. I prepared thoroughly in advance and focused on communicating my ideas in my own way. I was nervous on the day, but I completed the presentation successfully and felt a great sense of accomplishment. Conveying my research across the language barrier was an incredibly valuable experience for me.

As a result of my presentation, I received the Best Oral Presentation Award. Receiving this kind of recognition at my very first conference was a huge encouragement, and I am truly delighted that the research I have been working on was acknowledged in such a tangible way!
The conference was held in Jeju, Korea, and the beauty of the sea around the venue left a strong impression on me. The waters of Jeju are remarkably clear, and the views I enjoyed between sessions were truly memorable. Savoring the delicious local cuisine was another highlight of attending this conference.

Although ICES 2025 was my first conference, it turned out to be a thoroughly enjoyable experience full of learning. Beyond my own presentation, I gained a great deal of inspiration from other presentations and from interacting with fellow participants, which further boosted my motivation for future research and activities. Building on this experience, I hope to deepen both my research and my means of expression even further!
